Dipl. Yogalehrerin
Anja Atmadarshan had her first contact with Yoga and meditation in 2008 and since then it has become an inseparable part of her life.
After a couple of years of searching and experiencing different Yoga and meditation systems (Kundalini Yoga by Yogi Bhajan, Iyengar Yoga) and studying Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at Jagiellonian University in Cracow, she came to know the practice of Yoga Nidra and started to read “Kundalini Tantra” by Swami Satyananda Saraswati and knew, that she found, what she was looking for – a holistic and integral approach to human consciousness.
After that, she went through the 3 years of intensive learning process of Yogic Studies at Satyananda Yoga Academy Europe, from which she graduated with distinction.
She started teaching in 2013 and while living in Poland, organized regular classes, workshops and retreats. In 2014 she created Sūtra (www.sutrajoga.pl) a blog and online space where she shares her knowledge by writing articles, recording audio meditations and Yoga Nidras.
In 2021 she moved to Switzerland and continues to teach and organize online classes for the Polish yoga community.
Since 2018 she has been travelling to India to stay at the Ashram of the Bihar School of Yoga to deepen her experience.
After moving to Switzerland she is connected to Samatvam Yogaschule in Zurich where she regularly attends seminars and retreats to broaden her knowledge.
She has always been a traveler and perceives teaching as a natural way to share what she has gained through her own practice and experience.
