Weekend Seminar with Swami Anandananda 3./4. February 2018

Swami Anandananda is one of the Senior Yoga Acharyas of the Satyananda Yoga Tradition and one of the most experienced Yoga and Meditation teachers in Europe. It is a great privilege to have him with us for this upcoming seminar.

In this seminar the focus will be on how to attain a state of inner harmony and peace. For this aim yoga presents a multitude of techniques that help to develop a calm witnessing attitude and an understanding of how the mind works.

The weekend will consist of asana & pranayama (taught by Sn. Anandaratna), yoga nidra and meditation and practice oriented lectures. The focus will be on the meditation technique of Antar Mouna (Inner Silence). In Antar Mouna the practitioner learns to witness his thoughts and feelings in a neutral way and realizes how he can reduce the congestion of the mind and bring about calmness and inner stillness.

As the Yogacharya of Satyananda Ashram Italia since 1980, Swami Anandananda has been teaching and spreading yoga under the instructions of his Guru Swami Satyananda Saraswati, specializing in the advanced techniques of yoga like kriya yoga, tattwa shuddhi, nada yoga, mantra and other techniques of meditation according to the SATYANANDA YOGA tradition.

In 1982, he founded the “Scuola di Yoga Satyananda Ashram Italia” and the following year, the publishing house “Edizioni Satyananda Ashram Italia”.

He has given countless seminars and workshops at international conferences in Europe, India, Australia, Colombia and South Africa. He conducts yoga teacher training courses and in service trainings and seminars on different aspects and branches of yoga. Since 2003 he is conducting courses and seminars in the ashram at Rikhia, India, for yoga aspirants and students.
